How can you not love mice with pocket knives? How else you gonna cut the cheese!? This is really one of the cutest and most heartfelt rpgs I've played in a long time.

this looks fantastic! i don't think i'll be able to donate in time for the kickstarter, but if you take donations at some point in the future, i'll be able to contribute then. best of luck to you!

"It was too big to be called a sword. Massive, thick, heavy, and far too rough. Indeed, it was a heap of raw iron."

I love it! keep it up!

Hi, you can build app for linux?

Hell yeah! It's funny, it's beautiful and looks like lore is going to be interesting. Instant "shut up and take my money"
One day I'll be able to make something as cool as this... just like Blademaster Jeremy...

Wow!  Amazing.  5 stars!

Love the artwork, music and sfx are nice, cheese puns are nice. However, the arrow keys to move around an isometric environment feel clunky. Keep at it and you've got an amazing game on your hands!

very great game lad

An emotional tale about mice and "gods", revenge and all that good stuff? SOLD! And only 9 days left to back on Kickstarter (as of this comment)... Have you posted this on Reddit as well as on Imgur? I really want this game to be made!!

This game is amazing. The artwork and music are top notch. Loved the opening city shot. The music is appropriate and used really well. The animation is great. I love the details in both the animation and artwork. The mechanics are solid. I hope they get a little more complex though. Only thing I really wished for was a dash key. The story is simple yet very effective. The tension in heaven and the trap sequence were better than anything I've seen in any game, indie or AAA in a long time. I was yelling out loud to cheer on Lance and Verm. Beautiful work. Top notch. Can't wait to see more.

I love this! I'm gonna back this when my paycheck comes in a week!

Wow. So great! Loved the mythology in particular.

Same! I loved the lore. I hope this game becomes successful!

I really enjoyed this demo. While I don't have the extra income to back the game on Kickstarter. I would just like to say the way this game told its story, built its world, and used many small details to bring the environment and atsmosphere alive was something I greatly enjoyed! I will be keeping an eye for the offical release of this.

Here are some  more in-depth thoughts on the atmosphere and storytelling of the game:

Wanted to look around just in case, hugged the upper part of the bag and clipped through onto the shelf, whoops!

That's a new bug to me! Thanks, I'll look into it.

Really well made, can't wait to see the full release!

This is amazing dood! :D

This is really very nice, and the pixels are very enjoyable too. I just hope that there is a way to avoid some or all fights because I could never play a game where I need to hurt cats :/ (maybe that's just me being over sensitive but I even felt sorry for the rat chief)

WOW ! How it's possible to do this on Construct ?!

I would like to see how is the organization of your events sheets! haha

I SUPREMELY enjoyed this. So fantastic. Reminds of me of my childhood.

This is one of the most best RPGs I have seen. It looks so well polished and the visuals were stunning. That old-school feel and the use of old-school techniques to create those 3d-style cutscenes in the fights was amazing. Keep up the good work!

This is hecking amazing so far! I love it! Reminds me so much of older JRPGs, like Breath of Fire. Although I only vaguely remember playing 3 and 4, though.

If I could give my suggestions/opinions, there could be a button meant for dashing/running, and there could also be a separate animation for characters defending if that's possible.

edit: Golden Sun too, I forgot to mention that. It really reminds me of a number of JRPGs I've played.

I don't have funds to contribute to kickstarter, but every sharing and word-of-mouth will hopefully grab everyone attention, especially someone with deep pocket and money to burn.

This quiet the fresh plot. You got solid plans, you already anticipate the funds. Wish luck favors you, cause everyone will really need it.

Amazing, brilliant, fantastic!

Okay wow this was honestly one of the greatest games I've played! The story just pulled me in and the characters are so lovable, just everything is perfect. I can't wait for the full game!

I don't know if you've heard of Game Development World Championship before (gdwc2019) but it's a competition for indie game developers where they can submit their games and it's free! It's great if you want some more visibility for the game and it only takes a couple of minutes to join :)

this is BRILLIANT, I wish I have half the graphics and animation quality this demo has :D

This is incredibly well done. The art is awesome.

Best pixel game i ever played, if you in these cind of games just download it, you wont loose anything.

This is incredible! The game pulled me in with its likable characters, the emotional story, and the colorful settings. I like how it was cheery and nice in the opening, but then it went serious and moving later on. I’ve backed  you on Kickstarter and I hope your campaign succeeds!

Wow - great demo! Definitely managed to pull me in with story, gameplay and art. I look forward to playing the finished item with all the bells and whistles.

This was really interesting and you, in the span of less than 15 minutes, you managed to make me feel really, really bad, and genuinely terrified. The way the characters are somehow expressive without really showing it, especially Verm after the "One Season Later" card, is very interesting for sure. I'm looking forward to seeing where this goes and I'm definitely considering helping fund this project, which would make it the first Kickstarter I'd donate to. One criticism I have, though, is the world. The world feels very lifeless, especially being that the only mice you meet are three big asshats. Correct me if I'm wrong, but there should definitely be a few more NPCs in the underground area, some friendly characters would instantly make the world more lively. Also, more moving parts would be nice, some animated bugs or something. More difference in the bricks, maybe moss growing in a few places, etc. Right now the world, visually, is just unbelievable.

P.S. the opening is awesome

This is literally one of the best rpg games that i've ever played in my life, please make more.I just loved it.

Very good!

I can't help but being reminded of Genesis games. The palette, perspective and even the refresh scan distortion.
